Privacy before convenience
An office enquiry needs more than an empty meeting room. Confirm permission, a private assessment space, handwashing access and a seat suitable for monitored care. Colleagues should not hear someone’s medical history. Avoid arrangements that turn a consultation into a public demonstration or require employees to share health details with their manager.
Participation must remain individual
A company request does not establish that every employee needs the same treatment. Each person should be able to decline, ask questions privately and receive an appropriate recommendation. A wellness activity must not promise productivity, fewer sick days or better performance through an IV.
Agree the practical scope first
Confirm how many consultations can be accommodated, what the clinician can provide, appointment spacing and the total costs. Do not advertise an infusion day to staff before clinical capacity and venue suitability are established. An existing occupational health programme can help coordinate the right next step where relevant.
Questions to bring to your consultation
- What is the reason for this visit setting, and could another approach be more suitable?
- Who is responsible for assessment, prescribing and monitoring, and how can I verify their professional status?
- What is the complete price in KES, expected appointment time and follow-up plan?
Questions before you choose
Can an employer choose the drip for everyone?
No. The health decision and consent belong to each individual following assessment.
Is a desk or open-plan area suitable?
Do not assume so. Privacy, monitoring and an appropriate clinical setup need to be reviewed first.
