A name, not a standard prescription
Myers’ Cocktail is a familiar name for an IV nutrient mixture. Formulations can differ between providers. Do not assume that two bags with this name contain the same ingredients or quantities. Before proceeding, request the proposed ingredient list, doses, purpose and explanation of why an infusion is being considered for you.
Keeping expectations realistic
A popular wellness label is not proof of a benefit for a healthy person. Claims about instant energy, immunity or preventing illness need scrutiny. A clinician should consider nutrition, sleep, existing diagnoses and oral options before recommending an invasive treatment. More ingredients do not automatically make a plan better.
Your safety discussion
Discuss allergies, prior infusion reactions, pregnancy, medicines and kidney or heart disease. Ask who prescribes and administers the treatment, how the product is sourced and how you will be monitored. THEDROP’s final formulation and availability must be confirmed individually; this page is a consultation guide rather than a dose recommendation.
Questions to bring to your consultation
- What is the reason for the proposed care, and could another approach be more suitable?
- Who is responsible for assessment, prescribing and monitoring, and how can I verify their professional status?
- What is the complete price in KES, expected appointment time and follow-up plan?
Questions before you choose
Is every Myers’ Cocktail the same?
No. Ask for the actual prescription rather than relying on the menu name.
Can I add a beauty or energy ingredient?
Discuss it with the clinician. Combining products changes exposure and risk and should not be decided as a shopping upgrade.
