The morning after, explained
Hangover is a broad description of symptoms after drinking. A mobile consultation can assess your condition and discuss support, but a named hangover drip is not a cure, a sobriety treatment or permission to keep drinking. IV fluid does not make alcohol leave your body faster. Time, rest and avoiding more alcohol remain important.
What the consultation needs to cover
Explain how much and when you drank, whether you have eaten, any vomiting and any medicines or other substances taken. Tell the clinician about injuries or memory gaps. Someone who is confused, difficult to wake, breathing abnormally or repeatedly collapsing needs urgent medical attention. Do not wait for a wellness appointment in that situation.
Planning care at home or in a hotel
Choose a quiet private room and allow a sober adult to help with access if appropriate. Hotel permission and individual consent matter. Do not arrange an infusion in a bar, beside a pool or immediately before driving. The person receiving care must be able to participate in the assessment and give valid consent.
Questions to bring to your consultation
- What is the reason for the proposed care, and could another approach be more suitable?
- Who is responsible for assessment, prescribing and monitoring, and how can I verify their professional status?
- What is the complete price in KES, expected appointment time and follow-up plan?
Questions before you choose
Will the drip sober me up?
No. It does not accelerate alcohol clearance or make driving safe. Avoid driving while impaired.
Can a whole group get the same hangover treatment?
Each person needs their own assessment and consent. A group request does not justify identical ingredients or doses.
