Route and dose change the discussion
Vitamin C taken orally and a prescribed IV preparation are different choices. A high dose is not automatically more appropriate, and an infusion is not a general treatment for every tired day or infection. Ask why the intravenous route is being proposed and what evidence relates to your particular reason for treatment.
History and screening first
Some proposed high-dose plans require attention to kidney health and conditions such as G6PD deficiency. The clinician decides what assessment or tests are needed. Bring your medication and supplement list, disclose previous kidney problems and ask about interactions. Do not copy a dose from another person’s treatment.
Keep cancer care with the treating team
A wellness menu should not be interpreted as cancer treatment. If you are receiving oncology care, discuss any supplement or infusion with your treating team first. THEDROP does not promise tumour treatment, infection prevention or rapid recovery through vitamin C. Prescription, formulation and setting require confirmation.
Questions to bring to your consultation
- What is the reason for the proposed care, and could another approach be more suitable?
- Who is responsible for assessment, prescribing and monitoring, and how can I verify their professional status?
- What is the complete price in KES, expected appointment time and follow-up plan?
Questions before you choose
Can vitamin C prevent a cold?
This page does not promise prevention or treatment of infection. Fever or persistent symptoms may need medical assessment.
Can I choose the strongest dose?
