Immunity is not a single switch
An immunity drip is a commercial label, not a guarantee that you will avoid illness. A mixture may contain different nutrients depending on the provider. Before requesting one, discuss your actual concern: repeated illness, poor intake, fatigue or a known deficiency. The next step may be assessment rather than an infusion.
Symptoms need their own attention
An infusion should not delay evaluation of persistent fever, worsening symptoms or an infection requiring specific treatment. Vaccination advice, diagnosis and prescribed medicines are separate from a wellness consultation. Avoid assuming that a drip before travel or a gathering will protect you from exposure.
A clear ingredient conversation
Ask what is included, why it is proposed, what alternatives exist and what risks apply to you. List other supplements to avoid overlooking duplicated ingredients. If you have an immune-related condition or take immunosuppressive medication, involve the relevant treating clinician before adding a wellness infusion.
Questions to bring to your consultation
- What is the reason for the proposed care, and could another approach be more suitable?
- Who is responsible for assessment, prescribing and monitoring, and how can I verify their professional status?
- What is the complete price in KES, expected appointment time and follow-up plan?
